AWARE Fish Identification

The PADI Project AWARE Fish Identification Specialty course provides you with the fish identification basics so that when ever you go scuba diving, you can identify the sea creatures that you happen to come across. You’ll get to enjoy your dives even more when you recognize the creatures that you see. Once you’ve learned the main fish families and characteristics it will be easy for you to decipher the species you see all over the world.

AWARE Coral Reef Conservation

The AWARE Coral Reef Conservation Specialty course is designed to inform you about the various coral reefs around the world. The health of aquatic ecosystems is often what makes a good dive. Coral reefs are fragile and we must lend a helping hand in preserving them. This course teaches you about the vital role of the coral reefs to our ecosystem especially the marine environment. The course will also familiarize you with the current state of the reefs and how you can help them.

Boat Diver Course

The PADI Boat Driver Course will benefit you because most of the world’s best scuba diving areas are accessible only by boat and in various parts of the world boats do differently. By means of a boat, you can have the convenience of descending directly onto your dive site. Learn boat terminologies, diving procedures, etiquette, safety and equipment.

 

Minimum Age: 10

Cavern Diver Course

Caverns exist in several areas where scuba divers venture. Caverns are those dark spaces you see in freshwater springs, volcanic islands, and other locations that seem incredibly inviting yet potentially dangerous. This course gives you the necessary knowledge and skills to explore caverns correctly. Be able to enter far enough for adventure and at the same time, stay within the light zone for an easy exit to open water. You’ll complete four scuba dives during the course.

 

Minimum Age: 18

Prerequisite Certification: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

Deep Diver

After your first few scuba dives, you’ll soon want to explore a bit deeper to the more exciting and mysterious parts of the ocean. There’s something about depth that attracts dives. The opportunity to explore the deep is exhilarating. Learn the techniques for diving in the range of 6-130 feet deep under the supervision of your PADi instructor.

Underwater Photographer

Underwater photography is one of the most popular diving specialties and it’s a lot easier and more fun than ever. PADI had two kinds of underwater photography courses – The PADDI Digital Underwater Photography and the PADI Underwater Photographer course which is a more traditional photography course. Learn how to capture images to share with your friends and family. A great way to relieve the adventures that you’ve had.

Propulsion Vehicle Diver

Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) offers a thrilling way to see a lot of underwater territories in a brief amount of time. The scoot you through the water effortlessly. Whether making a shore dive or diving from a boat, the DPV is a great way to see more and have a blast doing it.

Drift Diver

The PADI Drift Diver Specialty course introduces you to the coolest ride you’ll ever experience. This course will show you how to enjoy river and ocean currents by “going with the flow”. Drift diving is effortless and relaxing. You just glide along and enjoy the rush of flying underwater while the current does the work.

Dry Suit Diver

Dive dry. Stay warm and toasty during your dive. A dry suit seals you off from the outside water and also keeps you warm even in surprisingly cold weather. Get to visit the world’s cooler regions that are best enjoyed in a dry suit even in their warmer months.

Enriched Air Diver

This is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba diving course. Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression dive time which means more time underwater. You can typically stay down much longer and get back in the water sooner.

Ice Diver

Try diving under the ice if unusual challenging diving appeals to you. During the course you will dive with a PADI professional into one of the most extreme adventure specialties recreational diving offers. Explore the unique seascape that could only be found under ice. Be one of the few that have ever dived under a solid ceiling of ice and get an opportunity to try the unique sport of upside down –bottom of the ice – skiing.

Multilevel Diver

Maximize your dive time so that you can explore more. This course will teach you how to plan dives that extend your submerged time by crediting you for slower nitrogen absorption when you ascend to a shallower depth. This is a great way to make multilevel dives even in the absence of a dive computer.

Night Diver

Peak Performance Buoyancy

Scuba divers like to be neutrally buoyant so they can neither sink nor float, though it can be tricky. Underwater Videographer

Other than taking someone diving, there is another way to show someone the sounds, motion and dynamics of the world beneath the waves. Record a video and post it on your social media accounts. Wreck Diver

Most divers find wrecked ships, airplanes, and even automobiles fascinating and irresistible because it is extremely intriguing to explore. Windows of the past parked right on the ocean floor, usually teeming with aquatic life. Visit wrecks, unlock mysteries and start to gain the knowledge and experience that allows you to see the things others overlook. Learn safe, responsible and rewarding techniques for diving and exploring shipwrecks. Experience organizing your own dives under the supervision of your PADI instructor.
